Before you begin...

1) In your mind, imagine your desired action.  

It might be speaking up in a meeting, introducing yourself to a stranger, posting on social media, speaking on stage, flying on a plane, looking down from the windows of a skyscraper, finally quitting smoking…  

Be as specific as you can, pinpointing just one thing. 

2) Then, imagine the obstacle standing in the way of you taking that desired action.

Do you feel fear, uncertainty, self-doubt, or worry that you don’t have what it takes? Perhaps you get sweaty palms, your heart beats very fast, or you avoid it altogether…

… and now try answering these questions without thinking too much. Trust your intuition.
